this is simply the best pole saw made! I don't put it to commercial use, but I have a large property with over 40 mature palms and many additional mature pines, mulberry and other trees. It holds up very, very well. If you have used other saws, you will immediately notice the difference!

This is an excellent tool! I have owned/used many tools LIKE THIS of lesser value. All have been trashed. This is the one for a lot of work. It reduces the use of a ladder and has an extra shaped saw blade. I recommend it home or professional use.

It is exceptional quality and performance. There is hardly a tree limb or palm frond that I can't reach.

It is wonderful for pruning trees while standing on the ground. Cuts limbs easily on the 'pull'. This is a great product and at a great price also.

This pole saw is excellent. It also reaches high enough to prune many broken branches caused by the recent ice storm.

Excellent product for up-limbing large trees. Even at 21'of full extension, it is sturdy and the very sharp blade cuts beautifully. It can provide a great shoulder and arm workout on large branches wile cutting very smoothly without binding. Highly recommended.

It's the best pole saw I've ever used.

It is light weight for easy handling and extends to desired height easily and stays firmly in place. This is easy to use and maneuver and the blade is easily cleaned. The best pole saw I have ever owned!

It is surprising what a difference good engineering makes. This saw is well balanced and well made. The 21 foot reach well exceeds the capabilities of most other pole saws on the market. Reliable and easy to use....very high build quality. Very highly recommended.....

I have used it several times "A GREAT PRODUCT". I had another brand that was a combination saw and cutter but lacked the length of the Silky. I plan to do additional trimming later in the fall. Delivery was prompt and arrived in perfect condition. I have already recommended the website to several friends.

I have never felt compelled to write a review on a product. I guess that is because I knew what I was getting or what I got was no more or less that what was advertised. The “Silky Hayauchi 390 21-Foot Pole Saw” is a different product buying experience. A picture is worth a 1000 words falls short in this case. I am a retired automotive engineer and qualified to rate a design. A lot of design and quality went into this simple tool. The wheel has been reinvented you might say and for the better. Starting with the grip on the butt, functional and made to last. The oval shape sectional aluminum mast is extremely rigged for its 21 foot length. The saw blade, is sharp like a fine piece of cutlery. I would describe the teeth as aggressive, course. It makes fast work of oak but requires a little technique trimming palms. The course teeth tend to hang up in the fibers of the palm if the saw is used in a smooth back and forth stroke motion. To be clear, this tool is not discount store junk, this is suitable for commercial duty.

This saw is amazing. I pruned most of my trees without a problem. The trick is to make sure you are in the correct position and angle to saw cleanly. The blade should not be bent, but should make a back and forth easily.

It works as advertised! I have successfully trimmed dozens of branches of varying width from several trees with out any difficulty.

This is a great tool! I had an intimidating amount of high branch trimming to do. With this saw I made short work of it! The saw is well constructed and is easy to handle. I am very pleased with it!

This is an excellent product! I already used it to cut several tree branches and it works great. It has an excellent design, manufacture, and steel blade quality.

The Hayauchi 390 is a very well made aluminum pole saw with locking pins and also collars so it cannot come apart while sawing. The blade is extremely sharp. I bought it to trim palm trees that I cannot reach with a Stihl power pruner. I am very happy with it. Stay away from power lines. It will fold up and lock in the bed of a short bed Chevy pick-up.

This is an outstanding quality saw with amazing reach! The twin locking mechanisms work perfect and even when pulling down branches at full extension. After two solid days of use, the blade is still locked down tight and sharp as ever. I can not believe I suffered with other manufacturers' pole saws for years. If you are serious about trimming, invest in a commercial grade product you will have forever... Get yourself a Silky!

It is a beautiful piece of equipment! It has been used on Pine, (Live) Oak, and palm fronds. I've cut 8" trunks 23' up. I had to see the limits (both in cutting depth and total reach). This is truly an impressive saw. Let the weight of the pole do the work. It's the pull stroke that does the cutting.

I've purchased this saw for use in my landscaping service. The good : It has very little wobble compared to round poles and it is a top quality blade. Once locked it will not extend. The obvious : For someone, who has not used this long of a pole saw on regular bases, this may seem quite heavy when fully extended. The saw that this one replaced was lighter, but it also moved around a lot more so it's a trade off . The bad : The blade must be cleaned immediately after use or it will start rusting the same day. I wash mine with water, dry and coat it with some silicone spray after each use. Having a telescopic saw one may expect that the length can be flexibly adjusted. Well, you have to extend it to where it locks at the end of chosen extension so your lengths are 6,11,16,21 ft .

It works good!I got the 21' and when extended to max it flex a bit side to side(normal). It is an aluminum built and is it makes it easy for the wife to use it.

This is top quality. Turns out I don't really need the full length. I mostly use it at the minimum. However, it is nice to have the capability.

This is a nicely engineered piece of equipment. The saw is very sharp, and the pole sections are easy to extend and retract--far superior to the basic (cheap) pole saws I had owned previously. The pole is very stable when extended. It is well worth the expense.

It performs as claimed and is truly a professional piece of equipment. The cuts are very clean, easy on tree bark, and probably superior to chain saws.

This is a well-made tool and significantly above the run-of-the-mill pole saws out there. It is worth the money, but that's partly because the other pole saws are so bad that there's no point in spending US 50 on a piece of junk that only lasts one year. This saw will last much longer.

The Silky Hayauchi is an excellent tool to use. The quality is beyond compare. This company has super fast shipping. I ordered this product on a Friday and it came on the next Tuesday. At first I skeptical about the price and quality but you don't have to worry. It is worth every penny and is exactly as advertised "The Best". I cut probably over 250 branches from Pine Trees and many Oaks. Some of the branches were over 6" thick and I was using the saw fully extended to 21' tall. The saw is super sharp and cuts on the pull stroke, cutting the effort required to cut the actual branch. Yes, it does take a few minutes to cut threw a 6" branch but it beats all the other pole saws I have used by miles. Thank you Silky and Thank you to your website for the fine product and great Service.
