I carried the basket around (which makes your containers lay sideways so pack accordingly with liquids) and nothing spilled. The place setting area in the lid provides EVERYTHING needed. With proper preparation, we will enjoy beaches, parks, roadsides, etc. with this item. VERY well made and organized!
The picnic basket is better than I expected. Includes everything you need and is the perfect size for two. Real glasses, not plastic and is made well. Very happy with this purchase!!

This was a gift for valentine's day for my wife... of course we both get to use this and it works perfectly. We went out and the cooler part kept drinks cold and food cool.
